One, I curate it myself. Two, I get the full content not just a link to a new place. Three, I spend levels of magnitude of time more than you away from the news flow, I do not need _all_ of the stories that lead up to the most recent state of the world/tech/art/etc. Four, list are nice in that i do not have to follow the noisy broadcast accounts in my twitter stream and can reserve following for people that matter.

Re: Ping.fm / Uploaded Image from Nameless

dang that's a crazy party, people dressed up in dog suits, passing out from all the excitement! awesome!

Re: Facebook Introduces Prototypes, Apps In Making

i like these so much, guess i'm just a sucker for trying out the new apps, blame Google Labs

Re: &#8230;and TheBubster writes a story

oh yes the old handwashing freak genes get passed down through XX to XY! hehe!

Re: US-HEALTH CARE-EDWARDS

i am very sad. very sad to see what people from the country that i grew up in have become.

Re: Heuresis - They don’t have criminal records… They just like...

you know, i hardly see plumbers getting all weepy about their tools, perhaps those "gun-lovers" have some sort of fetish hang up that is the result of not having a job here they actually need to use guns as a tool. First, is that we are increasingly dedicating our computer usage locally to accessing data that is stored elsewhere by someone else. Perhaps someone might be inclined to see the issues you have pointed out as reasons to criticize these practices, however I think you are right in that when we put data on the cloud we need to store in multiple place- ourselves. Secondly, this is a continuation of the critique of twitter from last year, prior to their incorporation of the Suggested User list or the mytical back room partnerships that have taken place. There has ben movement afoot to reproduce the functions and connectivity offerred by the service but in a more open and modular manner. I am certain that Dave is working in the right direction to make this a simple thing, for if just doing it equally were enough there would be a great deal of buzzhype about laconi.ca. Thirdly, this is a problem that is excerbated by the service sliding into the mainstream of our culture. By becoming a central hotspot that can be hyped up on CNN, Fox, ABC, NY Times etc, this is reflective of the same manner in which AOL was adopted in the 90s. So Twitter itself will be around despite not having monetized itself as long as it can keep its media darling status, but once it purchases Time-Warner or some other obviously ridiculous business decision, the trumpeting press will see some downside, and there will be a graceful exit from the room to the next little tech service that captures their attention.

Re: Why I won't Tweet any more tonight (funny shirt on @kr8tr ).

very funny

Re: Cricbuzz.com: Australia on verge of Test victory as England slump

nice to see some really aggressive bowling to take England out of the match.

Re: What To Do When Twitter Goes Down

i didn't even realize twitter was down for most of the day, until i decided to try to change my avatar. ha! now i am a faceless account until their server is not nearly so busy and i can up load my new image.

Re: A quick graphic to look at.

yes.

Re: Busy Busy busy

you are correct that things hardly ever settle down. occasionally we <br>get a moment to catch our breathe but that's about it.

Re: Crystal by Delboy

i'm am sorry to hear how it ended yet happy to have assisted in <br>solidifying the memory in a tiny way.

Re: Crystal by Delboy

mee maw the brown box is an audio player, click on the arrow on the right side to play the music.

Re: Cricbuzz.com: Symonds playing only for money: Slater

there is no shame in playing for money now that he has been dismissed by his country because he went out for a sherbet. and if he did have a drink so be it, he's a big boy and can handle himself. frankly, it is a game, its not as if he is doing open heart surgery or assembling delicate nuclear weapons.

Re: At Last!

um, hello?<br><br>one month to turn around the world's largest economy after it has been moving in this direction for eight, no wait, thirty years. i think you need to be a little more realistic in your expectations.<br><br>as far as the factual nature of your information about ACORN, i have not been looking into that, i will give it a look see, however i expect that it will not be as you say. Let's say that you write "post A" and that this post results in a lively discussion. Subsequently you write "post B" that includes information that wasn't available at the time of post A. In this case, I would want to close the discusion on "post A" and redirect people to the new discussion of "post B."<br><br>Just out of curiosity, can you unlock a discussion after it has been locked? I don't know if there's a call for this, but I'm just curious.<A href="http://www.fofo-vb.com/vb/t23319.html" rel="nofollow">توبيكات ملونه</A>
