It's blogging that's as simple as email, and it can even import your old blog. (I'm not in any way affiliated with Posterous, however I've been looking for a simple blogging platform and they really seem to nail the simplicity factor)

They don't support skins or style customizations yet, but supposedly it's coming soon. Custom domains & Google Analytics are working now.

http://posterous.com/faq

Re: blog.nathos.com - Doing what ‘everyone else’ is doing is the surest...

Just a quick test comment.

Re: Blogger Integration Problem with Custom Domains?

I got things working. I believe you're correct; Classic Templates are still being used.

In the 'post-footer' section, I added:

<a class="comment-link" href="<$BlogItemPermalinkURL$>#disqus_thread">View Comments< /a>

Then in the 'comments' div I added the General Disqus Code Snippet

Lastly, the "Number of Comments Code" gets pasted in before the
</body>
tag.

Re: Blogger Integration Problem with Custom Domains?

Ah, my mistake. This still only applies to Blogspot hosted blogs. I'm still having a tricky time getting Disqus properly integrated with a Blogger-powered blog that's updated via FTP/SFTP.

Re: Blogger Integration Problem with Custom Domains?

It appears these instructions are pretty specific to a certain template.

The default 'Minima' template doesn't have most of the code snippets you replaced.

Re: Blogger Integration Problem with Custom Domains?

Are you referring to the standard auto-editor? If so, that still doesn't support Blogger blogs that are published via FTP/SFTP to one's own web host.

Re: Blogger Integration Problem with Custom Domains?

Any tips for manually integrating into the custom domain template?
