That was my idea.

Hard to say, my eyes are only 54 years old, but they're not in great shape
and I had no trouble reading the screen.

The only way to tell is to try it out, I guess.

Thanks Kathleen. I've been amazed at how many straight friends and strangers have said this to me over the past year. If anything, they've been offended that we often refer to this as a gay battle, rather than a battle that everyone is involved in. So I really appreciate that.

I actually got a phone call from Grayson last night. I wasn't going to write about it on the blog proper, even though he didn't say it was off the record, I don't like to always write about conversations or it makes it sound like you only talk to people in order to write about them. Anyway, he's very nice, and smart as hell. We talked for quite a while. He called me :) It was a bit of a surprise, to say the least.

This is true, plus it's a more narrow audience than the current events news of Colbert and Stewart. It's not immediately clear if it would be a daily or weekly show though if it makes it past pilot stage. Daily might be tough to fill.

Agreed. I've always been a big supporter of HRC, and have defend them in the past when Andrew and others went after them. So in my case at least, it's out of loving concern :-)

I actually wrote this post over a year ago (5-17-08 to be precise) so the site has undergone many changes since then. Onle of the last changes I made was to go with a very light theme with no CSS so that people could choose their own font via their browser preference.

However, that doesn't mean I'm not using *any* plugins now.. In fact, I currently have 33 active plugins, including: Add to Any, Akismet, All In One SEO, Disqus and more.

Hm, I could probably stand to get rid of some of the older ones, though.

Actually I'm really beginning to like the keyboard. I really like the way it
suggests words, much much much better than the iPhone.

I've been looking for that for other purposes.

Also how do I get it to stop chiming at me when an email comes in -- I get a lot of email! :-)

Hi Tek, please read what I wrote to other commenters like yourself. You didn't bother reading my initial post, and now are responding to something we never even got into. The argument isn't that they're going slowly ,it's that they're going backwards, lying to us, supporting the religious right position in court, etc. Please read our actual arguments before responding to something that we never even said.
