In terms of the marketing idea you described i think that is awesome, great for the brand, users and Tiger, Steve or a Charity. Furthermore I am in agreement with you on the whole demagoguery surrounding cheap and viral. However where I do disagree is I don't think the hypothetical example you gave would work, I doubt Steve would take even 1 second away from full concentration on the game at hand, and would never break out his cell phone to post a twitter update. Now I may be wrong but as a golfer I find this highly unlikely.

Re: Global Food Shortage

Well said Lindsay. It definitely didn't happen overnight and it is in fact a slew of things, all pushing in the same direction [i.e. insufficient levels of food production], that will eventually create a lallapalooza effect; that we are only just beginning to see.<br><br>The media finally decided to push it to the front page because something happened that they could sell [the riots in Haiti (Philippines etc.) and the forcing of their Prime Minister to resign]. Glad you did an episode on this, it's something we covered in a few episodes as well. In regards to Corn Based Ethanol: "Utilizing food for fuel has to got be one of the dumbest ideas ever..."<br><br>Whens the next animated episode dropping?

Re: If the news is important it will find me: my social map (Seesmic du jour 115)

Totally agree about owning your own data, information, shares, updates etc. In terms of the News finding you, it's a interesting idea that has lots of truth to it. But what happens when the majority of people rely on this premise? Then the amount of news people consume could in fact, decrease and create an even more ignorant population... and that's one scary thought.

Re: Tibetan Terrorists

I think it would be a nice addition to start posting what city the interviews take place in, along with each video. The more you think about this, the more scary it becomes. I know I use Wikipedia almost every single day for these kinds of queries.
