But those aren't quite as obvious as drinking wine. And as I reported -- I stole the wine from my dad, he wasn't a beer drinker, and I thought, even then (for other reasons) that hard liquor was pretty unclassy.

Re: I got a DROID (Scripting News)

Buzz is a funny thing, it might have been luck or the ads or Motorola. In Minneapolis, where I live, I can tell you who I consider to be "trusted sources" of information. Some are MSM, some are independent media organizations, some are hobby bloggers.

In an index, that includes all of those, I do think there needs to be some useful shorthand. Maybe the labeling is being done in reverse. Maybe they should label the blogs that are edited or done by "professionals."

Re: I got a DROID (Scripting News)

Okay, let's work on this.

I'll set the site up right now.

Dave

Re: I got a DROID (Scripting News)

If I started a Droid blog on wordpress.com, would you be willing to post
that stuff there?

Re: Peek was worth a peek (Scripting News)

That was my idea.

Hard to say, my eyes are only 54 years old, but they're not in great shape
and I had no trouble reading the screen.

The only way to tell is to try it out, I guess.

Dave

Re: I got a DROID (Scripting News)

Thanks for the tips.

Is there a good website or book to read about Android from a user point of
view?

There's a lot of culture to absorb all at once.

A cheat sheet would be nice! :-)

Re: Twitter needs a command-line (Scripting News)

Still need the ability to do a sequence of them.

Re: I got a DROID (Scripting News)

Actually I'm really beginning to like the keyboard.
