yes - been to Kokkari, and really didn't like it. It's pretentious, too big and the food was very average. I should probably try it again. I haven't been to Boulevard yet (but i really want to) so I couldn't put it on my list.

about Mezes, it's actually really good and I think it was one of the best meal I had in the city. Now, remember, I'm married to a Greek lady, so I may be influenced there :)

No Boulevard?! I really like Mezes as well, but top #5? Do you really like it better than Kokkari Estiatorio?

I asked them if they changed chef, but they didn't confirm or deny. Now it was so bad the first time, that they may just have gotten a chef...

I had the same exact experience. The first time I went there it was absolutely awful. The next few time...not so bad. Now I actually like the tacos when ordered Nick's (crispy) style.
