Mind you, there is the slight issue that I suspect she doesn't actually know about it yet.
You'll also need "internet stalker" since there are millions of those little buggers.

Come to think of it, who says we can't have more than one "internet marriage"?
It works for some cultures (and religions).

And how would an "internet marriage" differ from a real marriage? You'd be physically separated by a few 1000 miles in most cases, so just like a 'real marriage', the sex would be the same. (i.e. in ones head or non-existent). (Am trying to avoid getting into a "virtual relationship" scenario here).

Would "internet marriage" work better than 'real life marriage'?
I certainly know some couples who would actually talk more.
But then the potential for "internet nagging" would be exponentially massive which is a far more scarier thought.

Re: 25 random things.

How is it that after reading that, I feel like I've known you all my life.
Spooky how I can totally relate to a lot of the points above.

And as for point #24, you should try moving from the UK to Fort Worth, TX, live there for 3 years and then move back again to the UK. (is_single() || is_page() || $withcomments) ) {
return;
}

Above the "if ( ! (is_single() || is_page() || $withcomments) ) {
return;
}

is incorrect, (or cut and paste from a different plugin) as I can't see how it would work.
I can't find reference to is_single() and is_page(). It sort of rings a MoveableType bell in my head, but I'm not certain on that.

Try it and see if it works for you. I will ping Giannii and see what he says.

Re: Have WordPress Plugin obey Comments Enabled

Actually, I goofed above. (is_single() || is_page() || $withcomments) ) {
return;
}

To me, that looks like it shouldn't print out Disqus, if it's a single page or has comments disabled.
That's the line I believe to be broke, but I haven't had to time to dig deeper to find out exactly why.
(I need more coffee if I have to go put my 'logic' head on).

I'll dig deeper, but I think it's a bug 'somewhere' (in Disqus plugin or WP 2.7.1) rather than missing functionality.

Regards

Chris

Re: Mashable on Tumblr - Stephen Fry Talks Twitter on Jonathan Ross Show

(They were interviewing Stephen either coming or going from the recording of The Jonathan Ross Show, not entirely sure which). They then did a piece in the studio about it and interviewed a lady whose name escapes me at the moment.
Shall have to see if I can find a BBC Video clip of it.
I would put my mortgage on the fact that UK Twitter uptake will see a large increase this week. (which is quite safe since I don't have a mortgage !)

Chris

Re: The Game Must Go On

Many thanks for your openness and willingness to discuss this in an open forum. I've always appreciated your honesty in dealing with your 'users' whether it be via Twitter/FriendFeed/SocialToo Blog etc.
It's a shame that some organisations don't listen and learn by your example.
Trying to get a response out of Twitter is like trying to get blood from a stone, unless you have mega-super star status, they appear not to want to listen to mere mortals, even though it's those very people who have made Twitter the success that it is.

Good luck with the changes and thanks once again for keeping us up to date.

Re: What’s Twitter’s Real Motive for the API Cuts?

Those people would probably be the same ones who kick the proverbial ass out of it.
I don't think they would ever charge for the basic twitter service, but it all depends on how 'premium' is defined (or what services would fall into that category).

Re: Private: Twitter Apps Can Only Grow so Far

Totally agree with you again.
That was the cynic within me again wondering (and only wondering since I haven't seen evidence) if in future they would offer a "paid for - unlimited/controlled!" access.
As you say, it would make much more sense than simply slamming the door shut.

They will also be doing themselves no favours either.
