This is VERY true when you consider the fact that three of our four largest sources of TV infotainment have ownership that is BLATANTLY biased. NBC is owned by General Electric which is the largest defense contracter and manufactures the majority of Jet Engines for the DOD. CBS is owned and operated by Westinghouse which also is a primary defense contractor, and the third evil ape in the bunch is Fox News. Need I say more?

I would say that the news media's roll now is to uninform, scare and provoke. I have given up on reading or watching American news lately - it has become unintelligible and right wing biased.

Here Here. Women have it tough all over in the Western societies for some reason. We are still thought of as the 'mothers' and 'carers' in our society and this might just be the reason women are good at politics. They bring home the bacon, don't shout it to one and all and when given a chance - like Hillary Clinton - prove to be the BEST at what they do. This also includes Condi Rice.

I was pretty young, but I remember the Clinton years. Racism intensifies and shapes the vitriol spewed by wingnuts (a dominant plurality, if not outright majority, of the Republican Party now), but there was a passionate and usually irrational hatred of Clinton. There were anti-government militias and terrorists, abortion clinic bombings, and even a US Senator threatening violence against the President.

I don't think the color of the president is the problem, though many people have a problem with his color. I think the problem is the Right no longer accepts being out of power.

I think that America has gone mad, truly mad. I have never heard or read so much rot from republicans and other independent idiots in all my 58 years. I was at my doctors yesterday and speaking with some people there, we are agreed that it must be a racist thing. If a white republican was president none of this would be said. Shame on all of you. Dems included. For NOT sticking up for your President.
