Reporters need to know their technology better than, say, Oprah does. If you had asked in any of the pertinent rooms, we (the FF community) would have been happy to help. Articles like this perpetuate myths. Perhaps the title could have been "Cliqset: FriendFeed done for a simpler audience."

Re: Cliqset: FriendFeed Done Right

That might be true -- and I've never been the biggest FriendFeed proponent (but I've had an account basically since the beginning). This is easier. This is easier and it has a Boxee app. But the ideas of the service are similar, yes.

Re: Cliqset: FriendFeed Done Right

I have -- I've had an account since the beginning, but I wasn't aware you could do anything that granular. It works. At some point I'd
like to integrate it with the back-end services I'm using at FriendFeed, or
with some other service I replace it with at some point down the road.

Re: A metadata race? It'd be cumbersome to set up, but once set up you should be able to call against the FF API and "reconstitute" your user's data in this way. Sounds like one HELL of a hack - but it'd probably work. :)

Re: ZumoDrive is going to change EVERYTHING

ZumoDrive.com is currently broken.

Re: ZumoDrive is going to change EVERYTHING

Working perfectly for me as I've just upgraded to 200gb :)

2009/1/17 Disqus <>

Re: tadSpot – Tad’s Jan 2009 Digital Lifestyle Part 2

Ugh - this WP design needs some work.
