I'd love to get together with some Berlin bloggers, but you guys are
going to have to set it up, because I'm a complete newbie here.
Someplace close to Friedrichstrasse and Unter den Linden. Which is
abou tthe only intersection I can find my way back to. I'm writing
this in a Starbucks on Friedrichstrasse. (And I can pronouse the name
of this place too!)

Interesting. A tool I really like and use a lot is Laterloop.com by a friend of mine, Gregor Hochmuth, who now works at Google. Is this what you want?

(It's easy to use in on your mobile phone because it's designed very phone-friendly.)

Stowe -- you really did a great job with the interview. It was my fault at the beginning not to focus on your face. But it's hard to keep an eye on the small minitor AND the face of the interviewee. Furthermore it was my first time behind the camera as a camera holder and not an interviewer. Anyway great job I really like what you said and wrote a blog post for my personal blog as well.

Interesting question Loic. That's how I start my day (in chronological order):

* Turn on my Macbook
* Start Mail.app and check and answer mails that don't need much time
* Start Skype and the intern messenger and answer messages (usually not much as well)
* Go to the following sites in this order: www.twitturly.com - www.techmeme.com - www.rivva.de (which is a Techmeme for Germany).
* Afterwards I go to check my @replies on Twitter and the @replies and mentions of my employer on Twitter
* Now I try to read my feeds (Netvibes)

That's it. That's my secret ;)

I think Yelp especially helps small brands and small restaurants/coffee shops/whatever if they deliver good food. I can share similar experiences with Qype, which does a pretty good job in Germany (and some other European countries as well).

I like the Flip. It's a cool and easy way to record videos (I need it for video interviews sometimes). And It's very small. But what really amazed me isn't the size; it's the quality. Really beautiful quality.
