I do give your brother credit. He is a good guy, smart, married. So maybe he is the exception. And I am not sure I can give the guy with the case of Natty Light the benefit of having a party on a Tuesday. Unless he is starting the weekend pretty damn early. I forgot to mention the guy with the Keystone had a six pack of tall boys...

At least you had Internet in the basement! The storm blew through so quick last night. It was crazy though. It's been almost three years and I am still getting used to the weather. There was a time a few years ago when I just moved here, I was traveling for work, and there was a dust or sand storm or something. Crazy!

Happy to help! There are so many places my friends and I like, it is about time we wrote them all down!

And no worries at all about inviting people to the group! I think that is awesome. I don't know too many more dallas tumblr users, so thanks! The more the merrier. It was so dead for a while. Two requests came into the group gmail, so that is awesome. I think we are going to have a great meetup!

It was fun when I first moved and I could tell everyone I was from NJ. And they would say stupid shit like "Do you know Tony Soprano?", but that got old. I hear ya though. It hasn't been easy. Maybe we need to start some kind of support group. That would make us super sad though, wouldn't it? Let's hang out soon and complain how lame we are!

It does feel a little better to know that there is someone else that feels the same way I am feeling right now (even though it sucks too!). Especially on a Friday night! It took me a good year or so stop missing my friends in NJ so much. I have a tried a few things to branch out...I took a photography class last year (everyone was old), joined yoga (quit), joined a gym (it's been two weeks), I am volunteering for Race for the Cure in a few weeks...these are just distractions, but they keep me busy. I don't know if that helps at all, but I understand how you are feeling!
