And FWIW, on May 12 when it first happened, the #fixreplies tag was being used once every second - easily the top trending keyword. Thanks for sharing the #repliesfail tag. I'll start searching on it too, although, I think I'll stick with the #fixreplies tag for now when I tweet about this.

Re: Facebook starts talking about tweaks to its redesign

I do agree that there is some truth in the idea that companies who are bold and not afraid to go against their customers from time to time do end up pioneering some good ideas, however here’s how this is different:

This isn’t Ford or Apple. Facebook is not selling a product; it’s dealing in the exchange of *our* contributions, *our* data. Facebook doesn’t just make money from us - Facebook is ABOUT us.

If Facebook wants to abandon what we’re here for and try and be some player in this new microblogging Twitter market, then it should, at very least, retain the important address book/ yearbook functionality in a meaningful way rather than attempt to Steve Jobs’ianly force its will on us by telling us “You don’t really want to connect with old friends… you want to discover new ones in new ways,” - because that would be an incorrect assumption.

Re: Tweeps near Florence

Thanks! I had seen both of them, but somehow missed them when copying names to the list. They're added now.

Re: I’m Back Baby

Thanks Tollie. (I'm attempting to paste the code as is. We'll see how that goes.) If the following code doesn't work, see http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/get_posts for the appropriate info. Also, I've never used it, but I came across this page explaining how to do similar with two plugins: http://tinyurl.com/4drtkc

Thanks! You can twitter me /tollie if you want to reply as to if this works or not.

<?php
$lastposts = get_posts('numberposts=1&category=1');
foreach($lastposts as $post) :
setup_postdata($post);
?>
<h2><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></h2>
<?php the_content(); ?>
<?php endforeach; ?>

Re: TWiT Army Twhirl

For those of you needing a direct link to the .air file, it appears to be the expected http://www.twhirl.org/files/twhirl-0.8.5.air
