It all starts with just one. We mac user use to brag about Our non virus infected Macs but now Its going to be a recommendation to install a virus protection software and then there starts the new virus wars. not only would it effect windows but both at the same time.

Question is it possible to over load the internet?

uway, you are correct in that there has not been much truly cutting edge besides the iPhone. However, those "large" cutting edge ideas are few and far between. Incremental improvements are typically what occur in between the big changes. I think we are due for another website to be really something new. I would argue that the past two were digg (completely changing what we thought "content" was supposed to be) and twitter (again, completely changing what we thought "content" was supposed to be).

As a reader of all those blogs you hit the nail on the head. Tech Not only has slowed down but its as if nothing surprises us anymore. Where are all the flying cars all the tech people use to talk about? Robotics is now done by a car company? i mean tech has gone mainstream and has lost steam. It seems that Once you have talked about all the tech that you can find there then We have to wait for what tech we look forward to. Problem is there hasn't been nothing cutting edge since The Iphone. Its almost as if we are stepping back a couple of steps b/c its still a phone that does what a computer does. Even all the new websites out there are just copy of a copy or just a sight improvement to the current way of doing things.

i am obsessed with the tracking feature...but isn't that like spying? either way its the most use feature i use off twitter. using disqus you can track all your comments that you post on disqus with the feed to twitterfeed. i just thought of that but i think your comments feed also has user comments and i only would want the ones i post to twitter.

i use google analytics. i like how they give me even how long each keyword or referring sites stick around. With awstats it just gives you a average of your sites time but no details. Traffic is so hard to predict but i know one thing i rather have natural traffic flow over any type of traffic boosting to my site. I have noticed that traffic that comes quick like from digg or stumble they mess with the average time to my site because they don't stay long just brows for less then a minute and there gone and rarely come back. I like that i am gradually acquiring readers and my traffic continues to rise as long as i continue to post daily. If i had one draw back to blogging is in order to keep readers you must continue posting no matter how insignificant you think your post is someone is reading it.

i like the tag feature. i have discoverd new blogs that i just wouldn't of found just by searching. i think that is just silly to do. i just rather add the taggs that i feel relate to my blog and and stack tags like that.
