I've been using the platform for that reason; I think what obscures the view of WNN is the consumption patterns of the generally passive audience: How do you make WNN a fun passive experience when it's being driven by hugely enthusiastic participants. You're talking about a content layer across the internet (that's always newsworthy to the end user) - doesn't that encourage passive, thus uninteresting, behavior?

Re: What's New Now (Scripting News)

Surely FriendFeed is filling that gap, part RSS reader, part communications tool, part 'parasite'. The audience were in turn, free to take the production to keep or remix. It's the largest comedy show on the web - the team produced 2 series worth of material through daily production, over 3 months.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rETfWe5gGmM

Project wiki homepage is here:-

http://www.wherearethejoneses.wikidot.com/

I'll drop you a line about this and the other projects I'm developing, based upon this commercial model.

David

Re: Creative Commons on Seesmic!
