Yeah, neat! But what they need is lenses, and for me the vintage look isn't even the priority (although a nice to have), but a somehow compact and suited for that form factor.

Hi Adam! I would really love to, But honestly I'm still not sure how I could I start that. None of the modules in scene referred seem an obvious candidate to tone curve, in terms of what kind of control I have, none really felt right and I'm still not sure how would I implement this in scene referred. But it's something I definitely need to look at.

Fully agree, one of the most iconic liveries of all time and changing it might mess it up. For me it's up there with others like the Marlboro Maclaren, the silver arrow Mercs of the 50s, the Camel Lotus, the JPS Lotus or the British green and yellow Lotus! Yeah, I do like Lotus 😁

Linear motors is a bigger deal for bigger lenses, where there's more glass to move. I don't think it would be very relevant in a smaller lens like the 27.

16-80mm isn't a disappointing lens at all, is a very capable all-rounder lens

Despite loving my XF50-140mm (that I use mostly for landscape/nature), something like on this focal range and size, converter compatible and WR might be a better fit for that! Eager when it comes out to check how good it is!

In a way this what should've come out a couple of months ago with the 3.0.0 release that was slightly rough on the edges, these new features are nice but the performance and bugfixes related with the UI changes are what's really welcome.

In the end you should tried it yourself, at some point I did that and ended up moving towards DT, but I'm not constantly doing that so I can't really say how it compares right now.

My X-E3 never got the same firmware upgrades as my X-E2 did, and honestly, being a software developer myself, I can bet why: having more models makes firmware upgrades more complicated.
