I was trying to do the same thing, and had veered into using Workflow because I could not figure out how to do the HTML body. Where are you getting the information on the Airmail URL scheme? Their tech support has been unhelpful to say the least..

Re: Migrating to new iMac

Can you boot the old machine in target disk mode and then use migration assistant on the new machine to read your old accounts over?

Re: 3 arrested in massive maple syrup heist

Condiments of Mass Destruction are never an effective deterrent, and constitute a public danger - just look up what happened in the Great Boston Molasses Disaster. Unless I've slipped a decimal point, 4 tons of water per minute is about 1000 Gpm, which ia pretty normal for a modern pumper - there are some commercial pumpers that can do 2000GPM. the range is still impressive, though.

I'd be interested in knowing where they will get 4 tons of water per minute to feed this, outside of drafting while along the waterfront. Collapsing the city water mains won't do anybody any good.

Re: http://technodad.tumblr.com/post/2581080383

I'm still looking for the perfect RSS / news reader. My current favorite is "River of News" which integrates perfectly with Google Reader, which is where I organize my RSS feeds. However, it is online-only, so I can't sync and read on a flight. Flipbook is growing on me, particularly since they have added Google Reader sync.

Re: Skype Down for Many Users [UPDATED]

Umm, skype is peer-to-peer: http://arxiv.org/pdf/cs/041.... One of the possible failure modes is too many people leaving the network at the same time, as happened due to a big Windows patch in 2007. Maybe too many people shut down for the holidays today...

Re: New ARM architecture (likely Eagle) better suited for OS virtualization

Hmmm..looks like ARM is re-inventing Multics - segment registers, seg faults and all.

Re: Hey Foursquare, Let's Talk About a Check-in Exchange Program

I think the concept of "time served" gets the idea of location-aware services the wrong way around. The idea is to create awareness of your physical location, and your engagement with (and to some extent your loyalty to) those locations. The game aspects, e.g., mayorship or points are incidental motivators to get people to provide the data.

If you relocate, you essentially abandon the relation to that location, and any investment in local affinity equity. It's just like moving to a new town - you need to find new favorite stores, join a new church, make new local friends etc.

Ultimately I think giving location affinity credit to people
who have not earned it by spending time in the location will seriously dilute the value of location awareness services. You would never know if the people were really there.

Re: Hannaford buys former Stop & Shop store in Maine

Was there any comment on the future of the Green Street market in Kennebunk center?
